Our Click hidden in-surface power module by Metalicon is ideal for meeting tables and collaborative spaces in workspace projects, offering power, device charging and data transfer connectivity.

The Click in-surface power module is made with an all metal surround and lid. When closed the lid discretely hides any clutter while allowing cables to neatly pass onto the work surface through the sprung flap. Simply press the lid with a ‘click’ to reveal the sockets.

The module is based on our popular Boost desktop modules, and like Boost and Solo Plus connects seamlessly to our Powerlink under desk modules using GST 3-pole cables.

Click includes 2 power sockets, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, as well as a HDMI 2.0 port for connecting to TV screens or projectors and RJ45 for Cat6 data connections. The handy GST male drop cable enables quick and easy daisy chaining to other Metalicon power modules.

The in-surface power module can be installed into a pre-cut hole in a matter of minutes, simply drop into place and secure using the clamps from underneath. Like Boost and Solo Plus modules Click is fully tested and certified to BS 5733 and available in black and white.

You can easily download images of your bespoke configured product for your marketing or quotations – just click ‘Create snapshot’. The configurator will also enable you to show dimensions on the model and also note the unique product code, to make ordering easier.

Nichola has a Masters in Health Ergonomics, is one of only a few technical members of the CIEHF and is a co-author of Success Secrets for Wellbeing. She is the Founder of Inspired Ergonomics, based in London. Her team of ergonomists and physiotherapists provide expert consultancy services to reduce discomfort and pain at work through a range of services including design, individual consultations and workshops, from new fit outs to post occupancy.

Inspired Ergonomics work with companies based both here and internationally, from large law firms to the BBC. Following the success of our sleek and simple Solo in-desk power module, we’ve extended the range with a new porthole power module adding USB-C Power Delivery as well as a choice of data transfer inserts for HDMI and RJ45.

Available in black or white, Solo Plus is designed to offer power and charge in the desktop where you need it, fitting snugly into a ø80mm round desk grommet hole. It’s a doddle to retrofit to traditional cantilever desks with round cable port cut-outs so it represents a quick and easy way to revitalise tired offices and work spaces.

Choose your data transfer options

You can choose from HDMI or RJ45 (Cat6) data transfer inserts that simply click into place and can be swapped out at a later date. Alternatively you could leave the holes empty to use as cable pass-throughs, so you don’t lose the cable management ability in your porthole, or insert blank inserts for a sleek finished aesthetic.

Effortless to install Solo Plus can be held in place underneath the desktop with it’s simple screw-on collar. Alternatively in space under the desktop is limited, as is the case with some meeting tables, the module can be secured using securing tabs, raised with screws on the top of the module.

Unlike our Solo porthole power module, Solo Plus comes with a 500mm GST 3-pole male connector allowing easy connection to Powerlink under-desk power modules, or existing GST 3-pole mains supply.
